Argh...what a heart breaker!

The SDSU women played a heck of a game in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament, leading most of it. They just could not quite pull it out in the end.

It was a great game to listen to on the radio though. Both teams had hot and cold spells, and it was within 2 point for the last 5 minutes. I really thought they were going to beat the Big XII champs...but, alas, just a heart breaker.

You do have to remember though that this was the first year of Division I tournament eligibility for the Lady Jackrabbits. Just missing the Sweet 16 is not too shabby.

Ah well, maybe next year. Congrats on a fantastic season just the same...
