Drought in the South

This is an interesting article about drought in my home state.

This is particularly disturbing because my parents tell me they have had to go on water rationing for the first time anybody in their town can remember. Since the TVA was started back in the 1930's and early 1940s, Tennessee has had the most abundant water supply in the country for over a half century.

That's truly frightening... I preached in Atlanta last Sunday, and stopped before my sermon to pray for rain. There is enough water in Lake Lanier to last until New Years' or so... I honestly don't know what they'll do. Those who can afford to leave, will. I don't know what the others will do. It's very Old Testament, and I'm a little freaked out about it.
