Advent Carols

Listen to an Advent Carol service from St. John's college-Cambridge via BBC Radio 3.

I think this is a fitting way to celebrate my 1700th post on this blog.

Thank you for sharing this. It was inspiring. I am amazed by how much theology can get packed into some of these carols.
A couple of years ago our choir sang Benjamin Britten's "Adam Lay Y-Bounden" and we have been using Rachmaninov's arrangement of the carol "Rejoice, O Virgin Mother", in English, for the last few years. I enjoyed hearing them included in a program that was very well done.
Congratulations on your many posts. I have been enjoying them.
