What do you think about a Jesse Tree?

I am doing a straw poll: Does your family or church use a Jesse Tree in lieu of a Christmas tree for Advent? I am intrigued by the idea, but have never implemented it. I might use it next year with my daughter who will be old enough then to grasp a little of what Advent/Christmas is all about.

My parochial school did a Jesse tree as part of morning assembly during Advent. In turn, each class presented an ornament and told the story. A church I belonged to previously also did one as part of the children's program.
