Taking Requests

I have come to the end of my series on the Articles of Religion. I found that I quite enjoyed doing that, as it kept my blog "on task." I am now open to requests from my readers, if they have any ideas for a series of articles on some other theological document or proposition.

Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

In no particular order:

Preface: The First Book of Common Prayer (1549)

Definition of the Union of the Divine and Human Natures in the Person of Christ

The Celebration and Blessing of a Marriage (take the different parts of the service one by one)
The preface to the first BCP. That interests me.

The marriage one could also be interesting, particularly if I can find that deathbed wedding clip from Downton Abbey. They were using the 1662 BCP.

Why not comparative study of the BCP canons (of the Mass), the Roman Canon, the new canons in the Novus Ordo, and the many oriental canons, such as the Eucharistic prayer of Saints Addaï and Mari....
That would be very interesting.

+ PAX et BONUM
Taking a look at the BCP Canon of the Mass compared to the new translation of the Novus Ordo would be interesting.
