The Official Blog of the Archer of the Forest
I see it not as a mere secular undertaking of Henry; but an actual spiritual rejection by God towards Catholics. The Reformation was a long journey; completed when the State used their governance to further the cause. I never revere supposed 'saints' anyway.
That's a pretty dangerous attitude, if I do say so. To say that God was rejecting Catholics is theologically perilous. If God could summarily reject Catholics, God could just as easily reject Protestants in the future. A God like that is not worthy of worship because he is fickle and vindictive and does not honor His promises. As to Saints, I think we reject them as well to our peril. We see Christ in His saints. To reject the saints is to reject the bride of Christ.
The danger is all yours; i assure you.
