With all the Hoopla...

With all the hoopla about the 50th anniversary of the assassination of JFK, what has gone completely overlooked (and it was at the time) was that CS Lewis died on that same day.

The Narnia chronicles are probably still my favorite series of fiction. They have always intrigued me with the imagery. I still read the passage on Aslan's death on Good Friday. (If one must watch a movie rendition, I still think the campy BBC miniseries from the early 90's was way better than the Americanized big screen version.)

Have you heard Rowan Williams' three Holy Week talks on Narnia? Very, very good. Inspired my husband to finally ready these books I love!

You still have your blog. I always liked it. I thought you had given up blogging as none of the Anglican sites list it any longer. Glad you are still around. I tried to e-mail you but nothing I tried worked so I guess you don't want to be bothered with secret communications, huh?

Have you left TEC?
Have you crossed the Milvian Bridge?
Are you close to Omaha? http://www.saintbarnabas.net/
